All of you certainly agree, as I do that Autumn is always a season for wonderful creativity. Materials, colours, numerous plant varieties and different fruits inspire us.To celebrate Autumn, we have decided to publish a very special issue all about one of our favourite designers, none other than Daniel Pichon, the great best craftsperson award winning French colourist.
Daniel passionately unveils to us, his out of the ordinary exceptional work based on his favourite seasonal theme: Autumn.Sparkling colours and leaves are blended with seasonal fruit. Bark is combined with radiant flowers and winding branches delicately intertwine with plants. Daniel Pichon offers us floral decoration poetry, with a graphic explosion to instil new inspiration in us.
As you browse through our pages, you will once again have the pleasure of visioning our tutorials and columns as well as the universe of an artist, stylist, colourist and sculptor called Sylla Verpillot from Montpellier in France. Sylla plays with materials, colour and the effects textiles can have to offer us fabrics that are rich in emotions.
We found her colourful and extraordinary universe to be in accord with that of Daniel's.
I wish you a “bon voyage” through Daniel's rich and lively universe.
